[[Yeah sorry if Mori has a small highly unusual burst of mean-ness towards one or more of the people that respond. Heh, though Mori's version of "mean-ness" is probably nothing compared to what a lot of other in the school could do.
... Also all Mori's dorm-mates like have gotten a high-quality box of chocolates for Christmas. Gai was sent a nice set of training weights~ (the kind you can wear on your person without looking like you're wearing weights at all) Mitsukuni he was going to throw a tea part for with a really big santa-usa-chan cake... but the bad news sort of ruined that (he'l have to do something else for Mitsukuni later)]]

*After the two boys had settled into their respective houses for the winter break Honey, concerned by a prediction made by one of their dorm-mates, asked Mori to try do a sort of reading of his own.*

*It was a little known fact that the two -nozuka boys were quite talented in divinations (the talent did not run in their respective familys and they didn't particularly advertise it). Honey had always been better at individual things... such as working with tea leaves and tarot cards. While Mori was better at getting the overall just of things for large groups of people, places and sometimes the world as a whole... generally though cloud or fire reading.*
*This talent was just part of what made them so talented when it came to martial arts... even within their own families.*

*Responding to Honey's request Mori spent the entire day in meditation, while Honey sat by the door to make sure no one interrupted the boy's concentration. Though things generally just drifted to him sometimes when the conditions were right, forcing answers to come to him was not easy (especially as a student). Sometimes these things took minutes, sometimes hours, sometimes days... as such they did not want to have to start all over again.*

"I'm ready." *The boy finally said after the long hours of meditation and preparation had finally passed and he found himself in the proper state of mind. Mori sat with his back to his friend, no wanting to corrupt the reading, as thin clouds of incenses swirled in the air around him, moved only by his own breathing and the natural currents of the room*
